Easy Charging

The on-screen instructions show five easy steps:

  1. A free charging socket connects to the car’s charging socket
  2. Pay by card, QR code or app.
  3. Start charging on the screen
  4. Stop charging on the screen or in the car
  5. Plug the charging socket into the holder on the stand.

Charge when the battery is between 20 and 80% charged.

Almost fully charged batteries are not suitable for fast charging and the charging time is significantly increased.

It is good practice to keep an eye on your charge and let others join you as soon as possible. You should not charge for more than 30 minutes.

How to pay at EV-EL

At EV-El’s fast chargers you can pay with Dankort, Visa, Master Card and American Express. Payments are made in Danish kroner and may be subject to a payment fee depending on the card provider.

You can pay with the Monta App, or you can scan the QR code on the charger’s screen and pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay and MobilePay. It’s easy and secure.

Monta's App

EV-EL is collaborating with Monta, another Danish company based in Østerbro, which develops software for charging electric cars. Monta’s app is easy to use and allows you to charge regardless of provider, both in Denmark and abroad. The app needs to be downloaded to a smartphone and you need to register as a Monta user to use it, but EV-EL does not have access to this information.
